Fellowship & Fairydust
Fellowship and Fairydust is a community dedicated to inspiring faith and creativity and exploring the arts through a spiritual lens. We cover a wide variety of styles and genres, especially fantasy, science fiction, fandoms, history, literature, and much more. The group is heavily influenced by the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, George MacDonald and others who combined their Christian worldview with their love of Fairy Stories. F&F came into being when the blog and online magazine The Fellowship of the King merged with the online magazine Ink and Fairydust in January of 2017.
The Fellowship of the King Blog & Magazine
In 2012, a group of young Catholic writers collaborated to create a private magazine to showcase their literary endeavors. In 2014, they were inspired to share their past and present works with the public and christened their magazine & blog The Fellowship of The King, in reference to the Catholic-infused imagery in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. The Fellowship of the King is now the regular blog of F&F.
Ink & Fairydust Magazine
Ink & Fairydust began in 2008 as a newsletter for a group of young fans of Regina Doman’s Fairy Tale Novels. Soon the group realized that they had developed something that seemed to fill a gap in the publishing world – a Christian-based magazine focused on the arts for young people. They ultimately expanded the magazine’s reach to an audience of all ages. I&F is now the seasonal publication of F&F.
