Peter is the Warrior.
He is always ready to defend his kingdom.
He is always ready to protect his family.
He is always ready to stand up for the Lion.
He knows that the Lion does not need him to stand up for Him.
But Peter stands up for the things he believes in
And he believes in the Lion.
The Warrior detests war.
He hates the spillage of blood.
But if war comes, he will always ride out.
It is what he is called to do.
Peter is the Warrior.

Susan is the Rose.
She is most beautiful of all the flowers in the garden.
Many a man has peered over the wall to gaze at her beauty.
Some have climbed the wall, trying to snatch her for their very own.
Those that climb the wall unbidden would do well to be on their guard
Because the Rose has thorns.
Susan does not see her thorns as curses.
They protect her from harm.
The Rose is beautiful and may seem delicate.
But she can draw blood in the blink of an eye.
Susan is the Rose.

Edmund is the Judge.
He knows how important it is to punish wrongdoers.
But he has learned something else.
He was unmerciful, and he was shown mercy.
He did the unforgiveable, and he was forgiven.
He was unlovable, and he was shown the full extent of love.
Edmund learned to extend to others that which he was given.
Mercy, Forgiveness, Love
The Judge does not see his throne as a seat of judgment
For those that are willing find redemption there.
Edmund is the Judge.

Lucy is the Light.
She detests this description of herself.
She says it is fraudulent.
She knows that she is not the true Light.
But as the moon reflects the light of the sun during the dark nights
Lucy reflects the Light of the Son of the Emperor-Over- the-Sea in the dark world.
She has come to favor the night.
It reminds her of who she is.
It reminds her of who she is called to be.
She is a reflection.
Lucy is the Light.
Simply beautiful! And thought provoking. 🙂
