Falling Inn Love (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falling_Inn_Love)
This charming little film was quite a nice surprise for me, and I actually enjoyed it a lot more that I thought I would. Full of funny and quirky characters, and an array of breath-taking scenery, this heart-warming film shows the life of a city girl who moves to rural New Zealand for a complete change of pace.
I find this film really endearing, as the comradery and community spirit portrayed in this film is exactly how the world used to be and should be again, in my opinion. It reminds me a bit of the series Gilmore Girls, where everyone knows everyone, and are there for you no matter what. Growing up in a village myself, this is not the norm unfortunately these days. It’s something that I truly admire – as some places in the world do still have this mentality, and it is exactly what we need more of in the world.
I have to admit, I love the concept as well of this film, someone winning an Inn in a competition – something I have seen happening more and more across the world, and have been very tempted to do myself. I love, as well, that they add a touch of realism into this film, not sugar coating everything for the sake of maintaining a happy cheery film.
I would very much recommend watching Falling Inn Love if you like light hearted viewing that lifts your spirits; such as Hart of Dixie, Virgin River, and many others.
