Summary: Questions about the meaning of life for an artist.
What if the light went out of your eyes and you no longer
Could put the grandeur of the world to the canvass?
Then I would become a bard and sing of the beauty of this world.
What if you lost your voice, oh bard?
Then I would become a poet and write of the wonders of this world.
What if you could not write, oh poet?
Then I would be a sculptor, so all could feel the amazement of this world.
What if you could not use your hands, what then?
I would dwell in my inner garden and emanate Love,
To all the bright beings of this world.
Such a lovely poem about not losing hope. Almost makes you feel ashamed of not making the most of what you have.
