where I am tortured
by precious characters
who insist on bullets and blades
tearing through their flesh
dying
slowly
painfully
with wide eyes
their final moments
on perpetual repeat
during endless
sleepless nights
No more inspiration
to drive me to explore new
worlds
people
ideas
shouting nonstop in my ears
loudly
cruelly
relentlessly
until my hands are
moving
typing
pounding out
life
on a blank white screen
until I just
cannot
hold
back
anymore
and I have to write again
