The Lord of Creation

The Lord of Creation

Fantastic, amazing, miracles cast.
Glorious heavens, too great to perceive!
How could these miracles, have come to pass,
Without a Creator, in Whom to believe?

The Lord of Creation created it all.
With His two great Hands, He formed galaxies,
And formed mountains great, and bright waterfalls,
Mere breaths from His Mouth, and they all came to be.

The beasts and the fowl, He formed with delight,
To walk and to fly, from the Palm of His Hand,
To live on the earth, what a beautiful sight!
The herds and the great flocks soon covered the land.

And when He’d created the clear, sparkling lakes,
I wonder if he saw His Face, mirrored there,
And thought then of man, in His Image to make,
To live on this earth, His great Largesse, to share.

All of this bounty, He spreads through His Love,
And we now, caretakers, great care, we should show,
And always send thanks to the Lord, up above,
For all of His Goodness, to us, here below.
