Christmas time is almost here
It’s the time of love and cheer
Spending time with friends and family
That’s what Christmas means to me.
Seeing the joy on their faces
Staying at home, of all the places
Wrapping and bows beneath the tree
That’s what Christmas means to me
Sitting by the fire and sipping a hot drink
Reading a book and a little quiet to think
Surrounded by a winter wonderland to be
That’s what Christmas means to me
But the most important by far
Isn’t a shiny phone or a new car
It’s the scene of the Nativity
That’s what Christmas means to me
A father, a mother, and a Baby
Welcoming shepherds on bended knee
And receiving gifts from kings of three
That’s what Christmas means to me.
