You Walk Beside Me

You Walk Beside Me

~ by Vanessa Parry

You walk beside me on the one-two sided mobius path of kingdom and will. Crimson footprints shadow my own, cleansing the ground we share.

To left and right, I glimpse the shimmering shapes of jaspered crystal… here and yet not. Ahead, the path climbs shaded with the promise of golden trees, and I breathe spring air.

You take my hand and lead me on.  I follow… at your side… a conundrum of belief and trust.

Your will – my guide.
Your knowledge – my hope.
Your pain – my comfort.
Your kingdom – come.
