F&F Festive Fandoms, 2020-2021 Winter Issue

“Winter forms our character and brings out our best.” – Tom Allen

This very issue entitled “Festive Fandoms” is only now getting out for mid-winter, even though it had originally been planned to be released for the Christmas season. However, all is not lost, for we consider this very much a “best of winter” issue, with some of our brightest articles, stories, and poems relating to the season, not just with fandoms, but through other expressions. We are especially thankful to Jo Sexton and Heidi Williams for their expeditious and stalwart work with graphics to diligently thread this issue together.

With this year of 2021 now underway, we are all very hopeful that it shall give way to new opportunities for all of us, and this issue may serve to bring us a little bit of cheer and optimism to see us through to new horizons.
