Where

Where

Somewhere, over the rainbow or past a hidden veil,
perhaps beyond the deepest depths of magic wishing well,
or ‘neath a hillock on a moor where hares, a clue, may know,
or where the streams, to waterfalls and end of journey, flow.
(perhaps when we’re awake ne’er found, but only when we sleep,
on wings of dreams that come to dry those hidden tears we weep
within our souls so no one sees true measure of our pain, to comfort
and to strengthen us to bear the pain again) is found
the place called “Faery” or “Never-never Land.”
But only those who’ve found the way will ever understand.
The secret can’t be stolen; no key of iron exists.
But somewhere, waiting for you, it shimmers in the mist!
